Craft for the Kids
If you live in the deep south, and your kids are missing out on the
snow here’s a great craft to help them create their own.
It’s fun, it’s easy and it’s pretty. Don’t forget to read a winter time story
before starting on this to get everyone in the mood, turn the A.C way down,
snuggle up in warm Pajamas and pretend there’s a blizzard a blowing outside!
Materials Paper and pencil Cookie sheet Waxed paper Dimensional fabric paint
Instructions
Draw a snowflake template
Lay the template faceup on the cookie sheet and cover it with the waxed paper.
Using a thin line of the fabric paint (approximately 1/8-inch wide), trace the snowflake design on the waxed paper as shown, making sure all of the paint lines connect. Let the window cling dry overnight, then carefully peel it from the waxed paper.
